The VASES Model
The VASES model is a concept, protocol, philosophy or an approximation to reality during training. It involves vocationalization that challenges the traditional academic based university education. It offers training in an environment that is realistic thus exposing the student to real life issues in production, processing and business. In this model the theory is for explaining why things are done (practical) compared to academics where the practical is used to understand or explain a theory. In vocationalized education production comes first followed by theory. |
